SONGWRITERS AGREEMENT

By downloading the ZIP files or reference MP3s provided by Public Songwriting Project, the songwriter agrees that he or she is a willing participant in the project. The songwriter acknowledges that all downloaded material is property of Jeffrey Hill and cannot be used for anything else besides contribution to the Public Songwriting Project. The songwriter acknowledges that his or her own contributed work is NOT property of Jeffrey Hill or Public Songwriting Project. The songwriter acknowledges that Public Songwriting Project MUST obtain permission for use of his or her original material. The songwriter acknowledges that upon acceptance, he or she is accepting partial ownership to the material - specifcally - 50 percent ownership will belong to Public Songwriting Project and the other 50 percent will belong to the contributing artists. Public Songwriting Project and Jeffrey Hill acknowledge that the 50 percent ownership of material obligates them to apply ALL PROFITS back into the organization's operational budget and that the other 50 percent will be evenly split among all contributing artists.

The songwriter also acknowledges that there is no guarantee that Public Songwriting Project will use submitted material. The songwriter also acknowledges that he or she will be credited for their specific contribution on each specific song. The songwriter also acknowledges that once they submit material, it is free to be rearranged by other artists and Public Songwriting Project. Violation of these terms on either end is subject to lawsuit.
